Leona Lewis covered Snow Patrol’s Run a while back for Radio 1’s Live Lounge. Then it was outstanding, I’m not a particular fan of Leona but her version made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.
Tonight she sang it live on the X Factor and if you didn’t see it, watch it now, amazing stuff.
I just love stand-up comedy and one of my favourite comedians at the moment is the genius that is Ross Noble. I’m going to see him in May in Belfast and judging by classics like this sketch, it’ll be night to remember.
If you haven’t see this I hope you enjoy, if you have no doubt you will laugh again.
So goal king Cole has finally decided to hang up his boots failing to make a mark at Notts Forest and a legend retires.
Andy Cole, I refuse to call him Andrew, was one favourite all time United players. I’ll never forget the day he signed for United and the feeling that we had made the most exciting purchase I could ever recall since following United from childhood.
At his peak he was a prolific finisher with pace to burn. Ok I admit he missed his fair of chances but his partnership with Dwight Yorke was the best in Europe at that time and a joy to watch.
It’s interesting that since his departure United haven’t employed a similiar striker, a goal poacher much in the mould of Michael Owen. I think that’s what they lack even with the class of Rooney, Berbatov and Tevez.
Cole says he wants to give something back to the game, maybe Fergie should give him a job coaching kids at Old Trafford?
