Shuffle for six

I own an iPod touch which I use everyday but only recently have
I started to shuffle my music. So I thought it’d be fun (and dangerous!) to share the first 6 songs a shuffle gives me. Please play along too and be honest!

1. The Bravery – An honest mistake. Good song this, it’s the radio 1 live lounge version too.
2. Climie Fisher – Love changes (everything). Well I do love my 80s pop!
3. Michael Jackson – Dirty Diana. Not my fave Jackson track but still a credible track I think.
4. The Who – Who are you. I downloaded this after watching several episodes of CSI. Prefer Baba O’Riley though and especially how it’s been reworked for the new CSI NY theme.
5. George Michael – Fastlove. Gotta love a bit of George, seen him in concert last year, awesome!
6. Wet Wet Wet – Thru the night. I have everything the Wets ever recorded and this offering from their last album shows they are the kings of ballads.

So there you have it. I think I got off lightly considering some of the more dodgy stuff I have. Anyway I’m off to listen to some Peter Cetera, rock on!!

thunderbirds are go

Recently I alluded to a high profile project I’ve been working on and after months of hard work behind the scenes, NIDirect got its soft launch yesterday.

NIDirect is Northern Ireland’s version of Directgov with the same concept of providing Government information from one main source, rather than citizens needing to understand Departmental functions and structures.

It was a difficult project which seen us migrating content from Oracle to Livelink WCM using Vamosa. The editorial team, franchise managers and content authors worked furiously since the New Year to update every page on the site, a mammoth task which is still ongoing. On the design/development side of things we were challenged so much that the site underwent a complete redesign in just 24 hours last weekend. I’m still working on tidying up code etc but it’s been great to see that the initial feedback we’ve had has been very positive.

Please take a moment to visit and leave me your (constructive) thoughts.
